Acquired in 2004 by Lookers, FPS Automotive Parts Distribution is one of the UK’s most successful and established automotive aftermarket parts distribution companies. FPS works with over 2,500 motor factor customers through a network of 20 sites across the UK. With each site carrying over 35,000 parts and 2-6 daily deliveries, FPS can provide a unique supply chain solution for customers, a natural extension to their existing operations.

Apec Braking

Apec braking is firmly established as the leading specialist braking supplier of quality own-branded braking parts to motor factors and buying groups nationwide. Purchased in 2005, the acquisition continued Lookers’ strategy to strengthen its aftermarket operations, following its takeover of FPS in 2004.
Apec Braking has been supplying the motor trade for over 30 years throughout the UK and Ireland, their reputation for quality and service is widely respected and trusted throughout the motor trade.

BTN Turbo

BTN Turbo are the largest turbocharger distributor in the world. Purchased in 2007 for £3.9 million, BTN Turbo strengthened the Lookers groups’ FPS aftermarket business. The business has been successfully integrated and its performance has been excellent, beyond management’s original expectations.
