Integrity in relationships with customers, suppliers, staff, shareholders, regulatory agencies and the community is of great importance. Treating customers fairly is embedded into the ethos and is a focal part of our culture.
We are also very conscious of human right issues within the Company. All of our directory employed staff are based in the UK or the Republic of Ireland and are covered by UK and Irish employment law.
We are committed to preventing our products, services and delivery channels from being used to commit or facilitate financial crime. Our anti-bribery and corruption policy applies across the business.
People are crucial to our success. This is reflected in our policies on recruitment and retention, staff share scheme, staff communication and health and safety.
We aim to do all that is reasonably practicable to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our people, and others who may be affected by our activities.
It is our aim to create and nurture a culture that is open and supportive with a healthy speak up culture. We are committed to the highest possible standards of openness and accountability.
We ensure that the Group has fair employment terms for our people. Employment handbooks set out formal policies for key issues such as equal opportunities, disciplinary and grievance procedures, sexual, religious and racial harassment.
We believe that our people have a right to be kept informed. Regular discussions take place to keep people updated and to seek their ideas and opinions.
